WORK DESCRIPTION

Installation: Neon sign, red flashing, 200 x 28 cm
This work was conceived for the library of the Villa Aurora in California, the former residence of the German writer Lion Feuchtwanger, in exil from Nazi Germany. The neon sign was installed above the shelves stacked with Feuchtwanger's collection of books: Anyone reading this is dumb! For the exhibition "Lichtkunst aus Kunstlicht", the sign will flash its message in the zkm bookshop.
